Eligibility Requirements
You can apply to CCC2NAU if you
- are admitted to CCC and
- are in your last semester of your senior year in high school or already a student at CCC
- intend to obtain a bachelor's degree at NAU
- are not a current or former NAU student within the last 10 years
- do not hold a bachelor's degree already
Program Benefits
CCC2NAU is not a transfer program but a transition program. From the start, participants feel a connection to both institutions. There is a clear pipeline and trajectory where you begin your academic career in a community college environment and end with a baccalaureate degree. We offer:
- Waived application fee to the university
- Seamless transfer of credits between the two institutions
- Advising from cross-trained staff
- University ID card and email address
- Free access to university athletic events and student clubs
- Full privileges at the university library
- Option to join the campus recreation and health center
- 1:1 guidance in navigating university admission requirements and academic offerings
- Orientation meeting clarifying program benefits and expectations
- NAU scholarships for associate degree graduates with a 3.5 GPA or higher
Program Requirements
You can participate in CCC2NAU if you
- are not concurrently enrolled in high school
- enroll at CCC in the semester that you were admitted to CCC2NAU
- attend a CCC2NAU orientation in your first semester as a program participant
- meet with a CCC2NAU advisor in your first semester as a program participant
- maintain continuous enrollment i.e. don't stop out for more than three semesters
- still have one full semester left at CCC before transitioning to NAU
Announcements
All new students are required to meet with a CCC2NAU advisor and attend a CCC2NAU Orientation
All orientations are held in Rm 122 at the Lone Tree campus except as otherwise noted:
February 8, 2012 4pm-5pm
February 23, 2012 12pm-1pm
