    A. FERPA is the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. It regulates what information about a student NAU or CCC can share with any other person or institution. CCC and NAU will share all academic information and student information. Student conduct information would not normally be shared unless it is relevant to the safety and well-being of both institutions.

Q: Will disability information be shared between CCC and NAU?

    A. Yes, with your permission. This will save you from having to re-document your disability and your accommodation needs.

    A. CCC rules apply to CCC courses. NAU rules apply to NAU courses.

Q: NAU and CCC have some differences in their student codes of conduct. Whose do I follow?

    A. When at CCC, follow CCC’s code of conduct. When at NAU, follow NAU’s code. NAU’s Student Code of Conduct can be found at http://www4.nau.edu/stulife/

    A. File at CCC for CCC degrees, certificates and credentials. File at NAU for NAU degrees. Be sure to observe graduation application deadlines.

Q: I may transition to NAU before I complete my CCC degree. Can I transfer my NAU credits back to CCC and use them to complete my CCC degree?

    A. Yes. This process is called reverse transfer and you should take advantage of it. You can use it for degrees and certificates at CCC. Each credential you add to your resume makes you more competitive for employment and other opportunities. Completion of an AGEC certficate or a CCC degree that includes an AGEC equates to NAU's liberal studies and diversity requirements. If you are interested in completing a degree or certificate via reverse transfer, please let your CCC2NAU advisor know.

    A. It is the CCC rate when taking CCC courses. It is the NAU rate when taking NAU courses.

The university does have a guaranteed tuition rate that remains unchanged for eight (8) semesters for degree-seeking students (Flagstaff campus only). For more information visit the Parking & Shuttle Services office in the Centennial Building, 113 Dupont Ave, go online at www.nau.edu/parking, or call (928) 523-6623. As parking on NAU campus is limited and purchasing a permit will not guarantee you a parking spot, alternative methods of transportation are encouraged. The city bus system also runs from downtown through the NAU campus.

Q: How do I know if there is an emergency or weather that closes NAU or CCC?

Q: How do I dual enroll in classes at NAU while I am at CCC?
